Monday, Sept. 12

Drug paraphernalia

Leah Johnson, 49, of Sandwich, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 4:15 p.m. Monday at Fifth Street and Route 34 in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Johnson was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt, and an investigation revealed she was carrying a drug pipe and small amount of marijuana, the report said.

Sunday, Sept. 11

Vehicle theft

A resident in the 100 block of Riverwood Drive near Oswego reported his car was stolen while parked at the home overnight Saturday. The car, a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, had the keys in it at the time of theft, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report.

Friday, Sept. 9

Burglary

A resident in the 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road, Oswego Township, reported to Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies that someone broke into his home and stole a laptop computer sometime before 6 p.m. Sept. 9. The sheriff’s office is investigating.

Thursday, Sept. 8

Batttery

Brittany Irvin, 20, of 70 Pueblo St., Oswego Township, was charged with aggravated battery at about 11 p.m. Sept. 8 at her home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. According to the report, Irvin entered the home and attempted to remove some items. When confronted by an elderly family member, Irvin pushed the family member.
