Monday, July 11

Marijuana, paraphernalia possession

Daniel Avila, 27 of 336 Kensington Drive, Oswego, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 2:20 a.m. Monday at Route 30 and Wolf Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Avila was stopped for improper lane usage and speeding. A sheriff’s office K-9 unit responded to the scene and a drug-sniffing dog discovered alerted deputies to the presence of marijuana, the report said.

Sunday, July 10

Domestic battery

Andres Gallegos, 21, of Aurora, was charged with domestic battery at about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 0-99 block Gastville Road in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s police report. Deputies were called to the scene for a report of a domestic battery and found that Gallegos had punched a woman in the face, the report said.

Saturday, July 9

Possession of controlled substance

Donald N. Lage, 31, of 11037 Yorkville, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson and Madison streets in Oswego, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Lage was stopped for driving 52 mph in a 40 mph zone. During the traffic stop, a K-9 unit responded and a drug-sniffing dog detected drugs, the report said. Upon searching the vehicle deputies found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine, the report said. Lage was also cited for speeding and use of unsafe tires, the report said.

Underage drinking

Lauren B. Erickson, 19, 35 Somerset Drive, Montgomery, and Amanda D. Mullenbach, 20, 420 Kensington Drive, Oswego, were both charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday at Circle Drive East and Cayman Drive, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. The two were stopped for having no registration light. During the traffic stop it was determined the two had been drinking at a home in Aurora, the report said.
