Huffing at Lovers Playground

Dale J. Pester, 41, of Bolingbrook, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of an intoxicating compound after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies were called at about 3:20 p.m. May 15 to the Lovers Playground Adult Book Store at 1300 Route 30 in Oswego Township for a report of a man huffing keyboard duster, a sheriff’s report said. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Pester who admitted to huffing the duster and searched his vehicle, the report said. The searched turned up several prescription pills unlawfully in his possession, according to the report.

Saturday, May 14

14-year-old charged with alcohol consumption

A 14-year-old girl in the 100 block of Harbor Drive was charged with domestic battery and alcohol consumption by a minor at about midnight May 14 in her home after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home for a report of a domestic dispute, a sheriff’s report said. While investigating the incident, deputies discovered the 14-year-old had also been drinking, the report said.

False identification

Tonario Kimmons, 23, 103 Harbor Drive, was charged with obstructing identification, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license at about 5 p.m. May 14 at Light Road and Route 31 in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Kimmons was stopped for disobeying a stop sign and provided deputies with a false name, the report said. A consensual search of his vehicle revealed a marijuana pipe, the report said. Kimmons was also charged with disobeying a stop sign, operating and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Thursday, May 12

Drug equipment possession

Ruben J. Sanchez, 22, of Romoeoville was charged with possession of drug equipment at about 10:15 a.m. May 12 at 42 Briarcliff Road, Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s police report. He was charged after a traffic stop for several vehicle equipment violations, the report said.

Domestic Battery

Joshua D. Loyd, 32, 166 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego Township, was charged with domestic battery at about 3:10 p.m. May 12 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s police report. Deputies were called to the home for a report of a domestic dispute and Loyd was taken into custody without incident, the report said. Sheriff’s police were called to the home May 16 for a report of another domestic dispute and this time Jeremiah Loyd, 35, of the same address, was charged with domestic battery, a separate report said. The victim reported to deputies that Jeremiah Loyd struck her in the nose, causing her to bleed, the report said.
