Thief Hands Over ID at Kohl's: Police

Also: Arrests for DUI, underage drinking.

Oswego police responded to a report of retail theft at Kohl's, 2500 Route 34, in which the suspect allegedly attempted to return stolen merchandise — and provided a Kohl's employee with his actual state ID, police said. Police are seeking an arrest warrant for the suspect, accused of stealing and returning $64.99 in merchandise, according to police reports.

Antonio Marungo, 64, of the 200 block of Vermont Avenue, Aurora, was arrested by Oswego police in the 4500 block of Route 71 and charged with DUI and driving without a valid license, police said.

Three teens were arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:50 p.m. at Madison and Jackson streets, Oswego police said. Arrested were Deanta D. Goins, 18, of the 12900 block of Alpine, Plainfield; Angel M. Leal, 18, of the 500 block of Blueridge, Oswego; and Tyler R. Hill, 19, of the 200 block of Willowwood, Osewgo, police said.
