Toy Gun Mistaken for the Real Thing
Sheriff's deputies respond to call for a child with a gun.
Kendall County Sheriff's deputies rushed to Boulder Hill Wednesday at about 4:20 p.m. after receiving a report of a child with a handgun.
When deputies arrived at the scene near Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive East they found an 8-year-old boy walking in the street with a toy gun that had the safety cap removed, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's office report.
An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed, the report said.

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies on the first block of Circle Drive East in March. In that incident, both a vehicle and home were hit with bullets, but no one was injured.
