Traffic Accident at Douglas and Route 34 Forces Traffic to One Lane

If you're driving near the intersection of Route 34 and Douglas, try to find another route.

A traffic accident at about 12:20 p.m. has caused traffic on eastbound Route 34 to be diverted to one lane, said Patch Business Engagement Editor Dawn Aulet, who was on scene of the accident.

Two cars apparently crashed head-on in the middle of the intersection.

Oswego Police Captain Jeff Burgner said there were no injuries reported at the accident. An investigating officer is still on scene to determine the cause of the accident.
