Sunday, Nov. 10

Possession of controlled substance, no valid driver’s license

Cesar Rivera-Penaloza, 26, of the 500 block of East Main Street, Plano, was arrested at 2:24 a.m. at Route 34 and Cannonball Trail, Bristol, and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license and for possession of a controlled substance which was found in his vehicle, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Nov. 9

Warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia

Miles Vaillant Soliveres, 20, of the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. at Route 34 and Cherry Drive, Oswego, following a traffic stop for driving without lights when required and improper lane usage, said the Sheriff’s office. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant for retail theft and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUI

Peter Scott Bochek, 57, of the 0-99 block of Lillian Lane, Yorkville, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. at Route 31 and Anchor Drive and charged for driving under the influence and speeding, said the Sheriff’s office.

Warrant

Chauncy Lareese Williams, 34, of the 200 block of Wolverine Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 5:19 a.m. at Orchard and Galena on a warrant out of DuPage County for contempt of court after he was stopped for speeding, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged for driving on a suspended license and cited for speeding.

Friday, Nov. 8

Battery

A male juvenile, 15, was arrested at 7:52 p.m. in the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego, and charged with battery of another juvenile, said the Sheriff’s office.

DUI, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Michael Alexander Neem, 20, of the 200 block of Longbeach Road, Oswego, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. at Saugatuck Road and Amesbury Road, Montgomery, and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after he was stopped for speeding, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, Nov. 7

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a theft that occurred between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego. The victim reported prescription medication stolen.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for identity theft that occurred between March and Nov. 5. The victim reported that a family member used her personal identity information to obtain service.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

No valid driver’s license; warrant, obstructing identification

Marco Vazquez, 35, of the 500 block of Pierce Street, Aurora; and Odilon Vera-Arellano, 32, of the 500 block of Hinman Street, Aurora, were arrested at 4:10 p.m. at Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass following a traffic crash, said the Sheriff’s office.  Vera-Arellano, the driver, was charged for driving without a valid driver’s license. Vazquez was a passenger and gave deputies a false birth date in an attempt to avoid apprehension on a warrant. His identity was discovered and he was arrested for obstructing identification and on a warrant out of Kane County for driving with a suspended license.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

Criminal trespass

Randy Walter Henning, 38, of the 0-99 block of Dolphin Court, Oswego, was charged with criminal trespass to land after he stepped on the victim’s property without permission.

No valid driver’s license

Jeffrey Lynn Karns, 34, of the 1200 block of Howell Place, Aurora, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. at Douglas Road and Barnaby Road and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for several equipment violations, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, no front registration plate and no rear registration light.

Domestic battery

David Punda, 23, of the 0-30 block of Sonora, Montgomery, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Light Road, Oswego, and charged with domestic battery after it was revealed he pushed his girlfriend during a verbal argument, said the Sheriff’s office.

Monday, Nov. 4

Possession of cannabis

Trevor Russell Jensen, 21, of the 1900 block of Stephen Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. at Fernwood and Roulock, Oswego, and charged with the possession of cannabis between 2.5 – 10 grams after deputies smelled an odor after stopping him for a traffic violation, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported burglary that occurred sometime in the past week in the 8200 block of Route 30, Bristol. The victim reported someone broke into his barn and stole two riding lawn mowers. The incident is under investigation.

Sunday, Nov. 3

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between Oct. 17 and Oct. 30 in the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road, Montgomery. The victim reported power tools and sporting equipment were stolen from his residence.
