Upgrade Work Affecting Multiple Intersections This Morning

Traffic signals at intersections could be out for up to 30 minutes.

Editor's Note: From an Oswego Police Department release

Starting today, September 19, 2012 at approximately 7:00 a.m., there will be upgrade work being performed on numerous traffic signals along the Route 34 corridor throughout the Village. During this operation, traffic signals will be non-operational for up to 30 minutes while the upgrades are completed.

There will be stops placed at the intersections to assist with traffic safety and flow during the upgrade Work. in addition, the Oswego Police Department will also monitor the operation to ensure that the intersections are safe. Please plan alternate routes if possible to assist in making your travels through the Village more efficient and enjoyable. The affected intersections are listed below.

  • Douglas EL Rt. 34
  • Boulderhill Pass & Rt. 34
  • Wolfs Crossing, Rt. 71 & Rt. 34

  • Washington & Madison
  • Rt. 34 & Rt. 31
