Why are you seeking office?
I want to make changes that will provide extraordinary education for our kids while being fiscally responsible.
What set you apart from other candidates?
I have extensive management experience and I also know how to work with people to affect change. I also teach and have an idea what that position entails.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
Trimming the budget and getting rid of waste while improving the education opportunities for our children.
What do you consider to be the main issues facing the Oswego 308 School District today?
We spend way too much money and the district always wants more for mediocre student outcomes.
How do you feel about the proposed school sales tax for District 308 and Kendall County? Would you support it?
I do not support it. We need to make budget cuts and spend responsibly within our means.
What suggestions do you have in the future for re-drawing boundary lines for schools as the district continues to grow?
We need to get together and decide how we can develop the boundry lines in a way that will make the best use of our resources, keep costs down and still provide great student outcomes and safety.
