Early Voting Totals Up in Kendall County

The last day of early voting was Thursday, and numbers were up as compared with the 2008 presidential primary.

The early voting totals for the March 20 primary are in, and totals are up in Kendall County over the last presidential primary election

Early voting began in Kendall County on Feb. 27, and wrapped up on March 15. The county saw an increase in early voters over both last year and 2008. A total of 1,023 people cast ballots early at two sites in the county – one in Oswego, and one in Yorkville. That’s up from 778 last year, and 794 in the last presidential primary election in 2008.

While early voting is now over, in-person absentee voting is still available at the county clerk's office at 111 West Fox Street in Yorkville. Election day is Tuesday, March 20, and polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
