ELECTION 2013: Voter Turnout in Kendall, Kane, Will Counties

Kendall had a four year local election low in voting turnout for the April 2013 election.

On Tuesday, 11.52 percent of voters made it out to the polls in Kendall County to vote in this year's election, according to the Kendall County Clerk's website. 

That turnout is the lowest in the last four local elections in Kendall County, down about 5 percent from the April 2011 election.

Kendall County had the lowest turnout for this year's election compared to other surrounding counties.

Comparably speaking, during last fall's presidential election, 69.04 percent of registered voters made it to the polls in Kendall County.
