No Changes at Oswegoland Park Board, One New Face at Library Board

Roy White holds onto position as park board commissioner and Craig Weber joins the library board.

The Oswegoland Park District board and Oswego Library board unofficial votes are in.

Roy White, an incumbent for the Oswegoland Park board, held onto his seat and beat out newcomer Alvin P. "Phil" Smith for a six-year term.

Over on the Library side, all three incumbents running -- Terry Tamblyn, Vernita Hettrich and Kandi Ream -- kept their seats.

They are joined by newcomer Craig Weber, who previously served on the library board and has worked over 35 years in Education as a reading specialist and learning center director.

Newcomer sports editor for the Kendall Weekly Times, did not garner enough votes.
