OE Bowler Honored with Oswego Sign from Village

Giselle Poss, a senior at Oswego East, was honored by the Village of Oswego for her girls bowling state title.

Oswego East High School senior Giselle Poss was honored at Oswego Village Hall for her accomplishment in girls bowling.

Poss earned the title of girls bowling state champion at the IHSA State Bowling Tournament held in early February. 

Village mayor Brian LeClercq presented Poss with a street sign that will be displayed in the coming weeks on Oswego signposts upon entering the Village.

Trustee Tony Giles, a social studies teacher at Oswego High School who taught Poss for one semester, presented her with a certificate.

Poss will be going to Vanderbilt next year, which has a NCAA Division 1 girls bowling team.
