The Oswego Environmentally Conscious Oswego Commission is currently accepting applications from Oswego residents for one position.
The function of the Environmentally Conscious Oswego (ECO) Commission is to protect and improve today’s environment for the future by providing education to the Community on environmental issues, by educating and involving Oswego’s leadership on environmental issues and opportunities, by increasing conservation practices through hands-on activities, and by reviewing village environmental ordinances and contracts in order to suggest areas of improvement. contact the Village for an application, or visit the village’s website.

The ECO Commission typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month and is responsible for promoting conservation throughout the Village through various programs and events. Applicants are appointed by the Village President with concurrence by the Oswego Village Board and serve three-year terms.
