The Village Board's decision to cut its ties with Michael Cassa and the OEDC was a terrible decision and I think with this decision to can Lucenko (my assumption, but I'm guessing it's a good one) they will be realizing this now. Too bad Cassa is working for Downers Grove these days.

I can't believe it took this long. Tony is the type of guy Oswego needs but the board members and the mayor kept him so far out of the loop it was impossible for him to succeed. The anti business board members need to go bye bye.

The Board lacks anytype of leadership. Many ego's on the board.

I don't know why we keep hiring a bunch of idiots for this. It's bad enough our village govt doesn't know how to build, resource and attract any type of business - we can't hire anyone to do it, either! Tell me what good the OEDC did for Oswego that wouldn't have happened naturally? They haven't. And, guess what - we took our biggest piece of assets being known as Orchard Road and gave it away to banks (real great for recurring taxes). No one wants to build corporate offices on top of banks and small retail shops. We need "real commercial business" in this town to help alleviate some of the taxes which our village and school board continues to burden us with. Lord, please help us!

I was at the village hall parkers mill for early voting recently. It came to mind that there are not any public tampon dispensors in the local pubilc bathrooms. Is it possible that those can be placed. I also noticed some flooding as i walk 1 to 5 miles a day in the new prairie point parks during a rain storm is it possible a few drains could be placed.
