Oswego Economic Development Director Lucenko Out at Village Hall

Village President Brian LeClercq confirmed Monday the village is looking for a replacement for the director the village hired in August 2011.

The Village of Oswego is currently looking for a new Economic Development Director to replace Tony Lucenko.

Village President Brian LeClercq confirmed Monday Lucenko was no longer working for the Village. A job posting online details the position of Economic Development Director and lists the application deadline as Nov. 16, 2012.

Lucenko was hired by the Village in August 2011 after the dissolution of the Oswego Economic Development Corp. in May of 2011.

His role was to oversee economic development, market the Village to new businesses and be responsible for the retention and/or expansion of existing businesses.
