Oswego Refuse Collection Rate Will increase May 1

Pickup fees are going up, but rates for tote rental, white good pickup and yard waste stickers will stay the same.

Under the Village of Oswego's contract with Groot Residential Refuse, rates for waste collection will go up starting May 1, the village said Friday.

Curbside collection will increase to $19.02 and curbside collection for eligible seniors (65 and over) will increase to $15.21. Monthly tote rental, white good pick-up fee, and yard waste stickers will remain the same.

Groot is the village's waste hauler for all refuse, recycling and yard waste.
