Village of Oswego Displays New Website Design

The new Village website layout design has been in the works for about a year.

The Village of Oswego has officially switched to a new website design.

Public relations coordinator Michele Brown told the Village board back in November 2012 that they had been working on the new layout for over six months, making it now just over a year for the layout debut.

The new site, according to what Brown said in November, is designed to be mobile friendly as well as more user-friendly in general.

"We thought having search items above would be helpful," said Brown, where the previous search tool was off to the side.

Other notable changes include the addition of links to departments outside the Village that residents would still find useful - like KenCom, local townships and Nicor.

You can view the layout design by visiting the Village website here.
