This Mother's Day, I am choosing to combine my new craft (blogging) with an old craft that I recently wrote about (writing letters). This one is an open letter to my parents that I want to share with all of you.
Dear Mom & Dad,
Are the words "Thank You" and "I love you" really enough to express how much gratitude, thanks, appreciation, admiration, respect, and love that I have in my heart for you? All the things that parents are supposed to be, you have been for me, and more. You have shown me what parents are supposed to be, how they are supposed to treat their children, how they are supposed to be kind and generous with others, how they are supposed to support their family, and most importantly, you have shown me how to give your heart fully and unconditionally to your children and how to be a better parent to my child.

At 3 years of age, orphaned and living in an orphanage in Taiwan, my prospects on life were few. You came and adopted me and I truly believe in my heart that you gave me the opportunity to live when you decided to bring me into your home and become my (adoptive) parents. There will never be enough thank yous because everything that I have, achieved, and accomplished is because of you.
This little orphan girl has never had to wish for her dreams to come true, because I already have everything I have ever wanted.
