A Reminder of the New School Hours Based on Tier System

Editor's Note: The previous release stated times only for Homestead; it has now been corrected for all times for Oswego schools.

School begins in Oswego 308 next week and there have been some changes to the school hours for kindergarten and elementary schools.

The buses will be running on a tiered, or staggered, system to help with transportation cuts.

All students grades 1 - 12 will start school on Wednesday, August 22. Kindergarden classes will begin with the Kindergarten Round-Up based upon full day and half day. 

Kindergaten Round-Up for full day students with last names A-L will meet on August 22 at either 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Full day for students with the last names M - Z will be on August 23 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Morning or afternoon is determined by classroom assignment.

All half day kindergarten classes will meet on August 23 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. As a reminder, no transporation will be provided on these days.
