District 308 Boasts 109 Illinois State Scholars

Selection is based on SAT, ACT and/or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores, and/or class rank at the end of the junior year.

The following news release was provided by District 308. 

More than 100 high school students have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars. The students are among 17,335 students from across the state selected by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) for this award. Illinois State Scholar winners rank in the top 10 percent of the state’s high school seniors from 749 high schools across the state. Selection is based on SAT, ACT and/or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores, and/or class rank at the end of the junior year.

While the prestigious recognition does not include a monetary award, recipients are encouraged to cite the award on applications for college admission, scholarships and financial aid.
