AU Holds Review Sessions for Illinois State Board of Education Basic Skills Test

To help students prep for the Illinois State Board of Education Basic Skills Test, Aurora University will host review sessions.

Admission is free for AU students and alumni and costs $25 for the public. Participants should bring the online Basic Skills Test study guide available on the Illinois Certification Testing System website at www.icts.nesinc.com

The review schedule is as follows:
 
April 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Math I—geometry, statistics, graphing, combined skills—and Math II—word problems, proportions, pre-algebra skills, algebra and logic—will be reviewed in Computer Lab 101 in Alumni Hall, in Aurora.
 
April 9 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Language arts will be reviewed in Room 011 in Dunham Hall, 1400 Marseillaise Place.

April 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Reading comprehension will be reviewed in Room 011 in Dunham Hall,1400 Marseillaise Place .
 
April 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Writing will be reviewed in Room 201 in Dunham Hall, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.
