 (A Description of what to expect taken from last year's concert  program.)

Welcome to Oswego High School's 15th Annual Holiday "Crystals" Concert. Henry David Thoreau stated in his Journal in 1841 that, "Music is the crystallization of sound."

As a crystal is transparent and characteristically faceted, we hope that you will be able to clearly experience sound shapes taking form from all of the various vocal and instrumental presentations. Please relax and look through our "crystal" as you listen for the "Crystallization of Sound."

The concert setting is perhaps slightly different from those many have experienced.

Please hold your applause until after the Finale is complete;

a difficult task to achieve. A silent auditorium will aid the flow of the concert. It is easy to imagine snowflakes falling on a still night. We offer "soundflakes" in the quiet warmth of our performing arts center.

Crystals has become a tradition and our audience is growing every year. Thank you for your support! Thanks also to all of the parents, students, faculty, and administrators who donate their time, patience, talent, and money so that concerts such as this can become a reality.

Warmest holiday wishes……….
