Former Oswego East Principal to Become West Aurora Supt.

Former District 308 administrator has spent the last school year overseeing a tiny district in Iowa.

Former Oswego East High School Principal Jeff Craig was hired as the new superintendent of West Aurora School District 129 on Monday, according to the Beacon News.

Craig, 53, will start his new job July 1.

The new post is a return to Illinois for the former OEHS principal, who spent the last school year as superintendent of a three-school district in Truro, Iowa, according to the Beacon.

Craig was hired as OEHS principal in 2008 and resigned in 2013. He was replaced by Dr. Louis Lee, an adjunct professor at Lewis University in Romeoville.
