Oswego High School Homecoming Parade Route Information

Everything you'll need to know for the upcoming parade.

Homecoming season has come to Oswego, and Oswego High School is gearing up for its annual homecoming parade Wednesday, Oct. 3.

This event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and will end at about 6:30 p.m.

The parade route will include the following streets:

  • Route 71
  • Route 34
  • Garfield Street
  • Jefferson Street
  • Main Street
  • Tyler Street
  • Ashland Street
  • Washington Street
  • Franklin Street

Many of these streets run through the Village’s downtown area and intersect with busy intersections. Traffic will be periodically stopped to allow for the parade to proceed through the downtown area.

Expect delays if you are traveling through downtown Oswego during the above times. It is recommended to find an alternate route if possible.

Oswego Police Officers and Community Service Officers will be located at
intersections most affected by the parade route and will assist with traffic control in these areas.

Oswego East High School will be hosting its annual Bonfire night at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10 on the school grounds.
