The Huntington Learning Center is offering a fully proctored ACT practice test to the juniors at Oswego High School on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 9:00 am. Students have no school as it is a Teacher Institute Day.
Students will take a practice ACT test and meet with Huntington staff to review a complete analysis of their testing performance.
“This third annual fundraiser will allow students to experience a full ACT and receive feedback on theirscores. Many students feel ill-prepared coming into their junior year and stress over taking the test. This is a nice community service for area families that benefits both students and the OHS All SportsBoosters,” said Alexa Backus, Huntington Center Director.
Almost 40 students have already registered, said Backus.
Backus will also answer questions, offer tips, and give advice about navigating through the ACT andcollege-planning process during the students’ review of the results.
Parents will pay $25.00 for the practice test and conference with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to the OHS All Sports Boosters. For students unable to schedule for October 23, a second date of Sunday, Dec. 2 will be offered.
