Lottery Open for Preschool Program

The following was provided by District 308.

families interested in placing their child(ren) in the tuition-based 2012-13 Brokaw Early Learning Center Preschool Program are encouraged to visit the district website to obtain an Interest Submittal Form.

Forms must be received by Feb. 16 to be included in the tuition-based program lottery. District 308 offers a blended preschool program for students ages 3-5 in the Brokaw Early Learning Center. Preschool For All, special education and tuition-based students are combined in a single, scientifically research-based academic program that utilizes direct instruction and student-directed play at various learning centers. 

Students attend preschool Monday through Friday during the 2.5-hour morning or afternoon sessions.   An informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 8 at the Brokaw Early Learning Center, 1000 Fifth St., Oswego, for interested parents.

As space in the program is limited, acceptance into the tuition program will be based on a lottery. Entrance into the lottery will close on Feb. 16, and parents will be notified of program placement on February 17.
