Oswego High School's vocal jazz ensemble, Stay Tuned, received top honors as they captured their third National Grand Championship in the past 11 years.
Stay Tuned was one of four OHS vocal groups to compete on the first weekend of spring break. A Cappella Choir took was the second runner-up, beating schools from around the country and Toronto in the Concert Choir National Series Competition.
Ambiance finished their competitive year as the first runner-up for unisex show choirs, while Commotion placed fourth in the nation against groups twice their size from California, Indiana, and as far away as Toronto.
In addition to all the hardware, OHS students brought back two caption awards. The "Best Repertoire" award was given to A Cappella Choir for their college-level music choices and their ability to perform them. The "FAME" Spirit award was given to Oswego High School for the exceptional attitude shown during the two-day event.
