Oswego High School Homecoming Parade Route Information

Everything you'll need to know for the upcoming parade.

Homecoming season has come to Oswego, and Oswego High School is gearing up for its annual homecoming parade Wednesday, Oct. 16.

This event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m.  The parade route will include the following streets:

  •    Rt. 71
  •    Rt. 34
  •    Garfield Street
  •    Jefferson Street
  •    Main Street
  •    Tyler Street
  •    Ashland Street
  •    Washington Street
  •    Franklin Street

Many of these streets run through downtown Oswego and intersect with busy intersections.  Traffic will be periodically stopped to allow for the parade to proceed through the downtown area.

Therefore, you can expect delays if you are traveling through downtown Oswego during the date and time mentioned.  To avoid any delays during your afternoon commute, it is recommended you take an alternate route.

Oswego Police Officers, Community Service Officers, CPAAA members and Oswego Police Explorers will be located at intersections most affected by the parade route and will assist with traffic control in these areas.  You are asked to remain patient while the parade is traveling through the downtown area.
