Oswego HS Wind Symphony to Perform at SuperState Band Festival
This year is the first time in school history that the band has been selected to perform.

The Oswego High School Wind Symphony has been selected to perform at the prestigious SuperState Band Festival held at the University of Illinois onSaturday, May 10.
This is only the second time in school history that the band has been selected to perform. The festival is extremely competitive, and only the top bands in the state are invited. Earlier in the year, the Wind Symphony was selected to perform as one of only six high school bands at the Illinois Music Educator Association All State Festival in Peoria.
This is the first time in Oswego High School history that the band has performed at both events in the same year. The SuperState performance will be broadcast live from the University of Illinois Band’s website, http://bands.illinois.edu/. The OHS Wind Symphony performs at 4 p.m.
