Oswego School District Recognizes Retirees, Long-Time Employees

Combined, the honorees have nearly 500 years' service in District 308.

Community Unit School District 308 honored 19 retirees as well as three employees who have been with the district for 25 years at a dinner on Thursday, April 24, at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville.
 
The honorees represent 499.5 years of combined service. Almost 300 people attended the dinner. 

The retirees include:

  • Judy Beirne, Homestead Elementary School
  • Melanie Bonham, Oswego High School
  • Diane Coons, The Wheatlands Elementary
  • Donald Doty, Transportation Center
  • Karen Deutsch, Wolf’s Crossing Elementary
  • Orven Erickson, Transportation Center
  • Peg Figgins, Transportation Center
  • Ann Goldman, Hunt Club Elementary
  • Bambi Johnson, Bednarcik Junior High School
  • Dr. Ralph Kober, Traughber Junior High School
  • Linda Layman, Wolf’s Crossing Elementary
  • Melissa Lowe, Oswego East High School
  • Judy Malnick, Old Post Elementary
  • Darla Medernach, Thompson Junior High School
  • Antonio Navarro, Lakewood Creek Elementary
  • Sharon Pagoria, Churchill Elementary
  • Arlene Smolich, Oswego High School
  • Danny Walgren, Transportation Center
