Oswego Schools Compete at Mu Alpha Theta Math Competition
Contest was April 17 at Oswego High School.

More than 200 Community Unit School District junior high school students participated in the Mu Alpha Theta math competition at Oswego High School on Thursday, April 17, packing the school’s auditorium.
The results for the contest are as follows:
- 1st Place – Bednarcik Junior High; 478 points
- 2nd Place – Murphy Junior High; 464 points
- 3rd Place – Traughber Junior High; 430 points
- 4th Place – Plank Junior High; 320 points
- 5th Place – Thompson Junior High; 246 points
The competition is for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders district-wide.
