Oswego Teacher Chosen for 'Master Teacher Project'

Andrea Praught is a teacher at Prairie Point Elementary.

An Oswego teacher has been chosen to participate in the National Education Association’s Master Teacher Project.

Prairie Point Elementary School teacher Andrea Praught, who works in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, was chosen for the program.

The Master Teacher Project selects the best teachers across the country and follows a full year of their instruction - one lesson per each day of teaching - to share and report on what makes them so successful as teachers. The content will be shared on BetterLesson.com.

Praught earned National Board certification, the most prestigious credential a teacher can earn, in December 2009.
