On Saturday, Jan. 14, the OEHS Varsity cheerleaders competed at the ICCA invitational hosted by Andrew H.S. The JV team earned a second place trophy in a tough small JV division of 13 teams. They also qualified for the ICCA State Championships next month.The Varsity team finished the day as invitation champions in the large varsity division. They previously qualified for the ICCA State Championships at the December invitational hosted by OEHS.
Both teams are in action this weekend at the SPC competition at Plainfield Central on Saturday and at the final ICCA invite of the year at Romeoville H.S. on Sunday.
