On Friday night during half time of the JV home basketball game, Steve McInerney, the Athletic Director announced that our Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squad qualified for the ICCA State Cheerleading Championships.
This group of Freshman and Sophmore girls will be representing OHS in Springfield on Feb. 12, competing in the Large Junior Varsity Division. Twenty-one girls strong, they had such a great season and are much deserving
to compete at a state level.
The girls state bound are: Sophmores- Hannah Milner, Marcia Kucia, Kelsie Kerkman, Shannon Olsen, Samantha Sperekas, Kendall Wolff, Krysta Navarro, Kennedy Cavins, Hannah Macek, & Carly Butler. Freshman-Eleni Metrou, Marisa Mitchell, Bree Gibson, Sarah Scalapelli, Jessica Malatia, Mariah Mantzke, Jacquee Malatia, Nicole Thompson, Alyssa Scaramuzzi, Alyssa Becerra & Breanne Nelson. Team is coached by: Kristin Wilson, Kendra Colgero & Colleen Predl.
