On Saturday, Feb. 4, National Junior Honor Society participated in the United Way’s Souper Bowl of Caring.

From 12:00-3:00, students greeted shoppers at the Jewel Foods on Orchard Road in Oswego. The students told the patrons about the cause and handed out flyers. In addition to bags and bags of groceries, students worked hard to raise over $400 in just three hours for the Kendall County Food Pantry!

This money converts to over $2,400 at the Illinois Food Bank for our areas needy families. Thank you to the Fox Valley United Way for this great opportunity, but special thanks to the shoppers for their generosity and helping to feed the hungry!
