Two Oswego Art Students Place in "i heart art' Show

OHS students Ashley Blocker and Cora Tu placed first and honorable mention, respectively, in the second annual show.

Batavia High School hosted it's second annual "i heart art" show at their newly built Fine Arts Center where nine high schools in the Fox Valley area participated. 

Out of the hundreds of work displayed, the show gave out a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place, as well as two honorable mentions.  

Kari Kraus, an artist from the Water Street Studios, adjudicated the show.  She will be at the opening on the January 31st to present awards to the following Oswego High School students:

1st Place: Ashley Blocker, Little Girl
Honorable Mention: Cora Tu, Buddha

The show is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and awards will be announced at 6:30 p.m. The entrance to the Batavia Fine Arts Center is on the north side of Batavia High School off of Wilson St.
