Where are Oswego's Top Students Heading to College?

Nearly half of OHS top 10 students will stay in Illinois, while OEHS' standouts will attend Big 10 universities.

From the University of South Carolina to Brigham Young, the 59 students who compose the top 10 percent of the 2013-14 Oswego High School graduating class will be covering thousands of miles as they fan out to attend college next year.

While more than half of the students will travel great distances to attend college, 26 others will remain in the state. 

Here is a list of the 59 students and where they plan to attend college:

OEHS grads head to Big 10 schools

The 47 students listed in the top 10 percent of the 2013-14 graduating class at Oswego East High School will travel as far as 3,000 miles next year to attend college.

From Florida to Oregon, from the Ivy League to the Pacific 12, Oswego East High School students will fan out to attend prestigious universities both near and far, according to the district. The Midwest will continue to be strongly represented, though, with students attending seven different Big 10 schools.
