Panther junior Harmon named to all-state team

“It’s quite an honor for Alyson,” Oswego girls cross country coach Eric Simon said. “Like most cross country runners, Alyson is a great student.  It looks like she will also be Oswego's valedictorian this year, something that I know was a goal of her's since her sophomore year.”

The All-State Academic Team members will be honored at a banquet April 18 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington.

“This is a tremendous honor and I hope every student who was nominated takes a great deal of pride in all that they have accomplished,” said IHSA Executive Director Marty Hickman. “These students are the embodiment of what it means to take advantage of the entire high school experience.”
