Photo Slideshow: 2013 I Tried A Triathlon

The 2013 Oswegoland Park District's "I Tried A Triathlon" took place on Sunday at the Civic Center in Montgomery. 

The annual event is geared toward beginner triathletes and is open to ages 12 and up. This year, the triathletes swam 250 yards, biked 6.5 miles, and ran 2.1 miles. 

The swimming portion took place at the Oswegoland Civic Center pool, while both the cycling and running portions took place on the streets of the Boulder Hill subdivision. 

All participants received a t-shirt and ribbon, and awards were given to the top finishers of the race. 

This year's top overall male winner was Mark Luttrell, with a total time of 34:15.1. This year's top overall female winner was Allison Darby, with a total time of 38:52.6.
