Kifowit Honors Oswego Culver’s With Good Neighbor Business Award

AURORA, Ill. – Recognizing a local business that has put the community first, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Aurora, awarded Culvers of Route 34 in Oswego and owner John Witcpalek, joined by general manager Angel Rojas, with her 2013 “Good Neighbor” Business Award on Monday.  Culver’s was nominated for its dedication to friendly and polite customer service and for hosting a “Culver’s Night,” where they shared a percentage of their sales profits with local schools.

“This Culver’s restaurant, owner John Witcpalek, and general manager Angel Rojas have shown their dedication to the well-being of the community,” Kifowit said. “Not only do they provide great customer service, but they have made contributions to schools to fund academic programs and extracurricular activities. Culver’s is an excellent example of a ‘Good Neighbor.’”

Lisa Porter, a resident of Aurora and Culver’s customer who nominated Culver’s for the award, also joined Kifowit, Witcpalek, and Rojas for the presentation on Monday.
