The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for southwestern Kendall County.
The warning is also for northeastern LaSalle County and Northwestern Grundy County.
The warning extends until 7:30 p.m.
The NWS says that mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed and damage to roofs and vehicles will occur. Flying debris will be deadly to people and animals.
Quarter size hail is also expected.
