Jersey Mike's Opening Wednesday with School Fundraiser

High school booster programs to benefit.

Jersey Mike’s Subs will officially open its doors in Oswego Wedesday.  

Owners Raj Patel and Jason Corriveau will celebrate their ties with the area during the grand opening set for Wednesday. To commemorate the event, the restaurant at 2428 Route 34, is hosting a five-day fundraiser from Wed., Jan. 11 through Sun., Jan. 15,with proceeds supporting and Booster Programs. The store is located in the same shopping strip as and Sports Clips.

Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution.  Coupons are being distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers. 

“We love to connect with the communities that we’re settling into,” said Patel, “And supporting the Boosters programs in an area with such a strong high school sports following seemed like the perfect partnership.”

The Boosters Programs support the enhancement of the athletic experience of all Oswego High School athletes, their teams, and their fans through the promotion of athletics, school spirit, successful student-athletes, and community awareness of their athletic & academic achievements. 

All franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.

“At Jersey Mike’s we believe you have to participate in your community to be a success,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO.  “Raj Patel and Jason Corriveau are enthusiastic about being effective business leaders and we congratulate them on opening their second Jersey Mike’s location.

“Oswego is a rapidly growing suburb with boundless opportunity," Corriveau said. "Our interaction with our first location, Bolingbrook, has resulted in a unique relationship with the Bolingbrook High School that has allowed us to continue our contributions and fundraising. We look forward establishing this sort of relationship with the community of Oswego.”
