Leads Group Donates More Than $2,000 to Food Pantry

Organization will buy more than $12,000 with the funds.

The following news release was provided by the Oswego Chamber of Commerce Leads Group II.

The Oswego Chamber of Commerce Leads Group II announced Nov. 15 that they have raised $2135 cash for the .  This donation will allow the Food Pantry to purchase over $12,000 of food from the Northern Illinois Food Bank throughout the Holiday Season.  

According to the Kendall County Food Pantry website, a cash donation of $1 allows the organization to purchase $6 of food.  Leads Group 2 Members Andy Clements of and Kim Peterson of both of Oswego challenged Leads II to raise $1000 and they would match the donation.  The group exceeded the $1000 goal!
