Final Leaf Pick-Up This Week in Oswego

Leaf piles must be raked to the curb or placed in yard waste bags.

The final leaf pick-up for the season will take place through the weekend with a final pass through of the entire town, next week.

All residents are asked to rake their leaves to the parkway (in the grass), no later than Monday, December 2. Please keep your leaves out of the curb line and street so not to impede drainage.  Please keep in mind that piles must be easily accessible.

Piles must contain leaves only.  If other debris is in with the leaves, the pile will not be picked up.

Residents may choose to bag their leaves in yard waste bags.  Each bag requires 1 yard waste sticker and needs to be placed at the curb with their garbage and recycling containers by 6 a.m. on their normal scheduled garbage day.

If you have any questions, please call the Public Works office at 630-554-3242.

Residents are reminded that leaf burning is prohibited at all times.
