After the Freeze: Rain Headed to Oswego

After freezing drizzle on Friday, expect a warmup this weekend, with a mostly sunny Sunday.

As of Thursday afternoon, it was a whopping 24 degrees in Oswego — a big change from the below-zero temperatures of the last few days.

By tomorrow, the temperature could get up to 37, but the warmup could come with some rain and freezing drizzle, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast calls for a chance of flurries and freezing drizzle Thursday night, and more of the same before noon Friday, plus wind gusts of up to 20 mph.

Expect rain before 3 a.m. Saturday and then rain and snow showers, with a low of 34. Little to no snow accumulation is expected, according to the NWS.

Then there's another chance chance of rain and snow before noon on Saturday, then a chance of snow showers.

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
