Due to standing water at Arranmore Farm, the inaugural Arranmore Ale Fest is canceled Saturday.
Here is what the fest's website has to say:
"Due to field conditions related to the recent inclement weather we are canceling the Arranmore Ale Fest scheduled for this Saturday. The safety of festival guest, vendors and our employees is our highest priority," according to the website.
"We are currently working with the venue to reschedule for later this year. We will be issuing a full refund to those who purchased tickets. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next fest."
The Aurora Beacon News featured the fest in Friday's Weekender section. The newspaper went to press before the fest was canceled.
