Originally known as Oswego High School, the building was renamed Oswego Junior High School in 1964. When Thompson Junior High was built in the 1970s, the building was renamed Traughber Junior High. Because it was landlocked with perennial parking and other site problems, the building was repurposed as the Oswego 308 Center a few years ago. It now houses the Oswego YMCA, as well as Oswego senior citizen programming, and some school district educational programs. The building is still in great shape after many additions over the years that greatly expanded its capacity.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Oswego Jr High School? It was in an older neighborhood, east of downtown, as I recall.

Thanks!
Rick
