A gathering of family and friends for Daniel Walsh will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 11 a.m. until a memorial service at 3 p.m.
Daniel Lee Walsh, 81 years, of Montgomery, IL died Monday, May 20, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 11, 1931 in Valparaiso, IN the son of the late Melford Lee and Lois Ada nee Beehler Walsh. Dan attended Valparaiso and Ball State University attaining a degree in accounting. After moving to Aurora, IL in 1961 he went to work as an accountant, in quality control at Stephens Adamson and Aurora Bearing Co prior to his retirement in 1996. Michael Collins Peterson, 45 years, of Yorkville, IL died, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto incident, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. He was born November 17, 1967 in Aurora, IL. Mike was a member of the Class of 1986 of Oswego Community High School. Joel Gonzales, 45, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 due to complications from end stage liver disease. He was born April 9, 1968 in Aurora, IL, the son of Jose F. and Maria N. Gonzales. Joel attended East Aurora High School. He worked for the Kane County Clerk’s office, where he enjoyed being the Alternative Language Coordinator. Joel was a true and real friend. He was a stand-up guy that you could depend on to help you when you needed him. Barbara Annette (Munson) Loomis, 83 years, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on May 16, 2013 at Bickford Cottages of Oswego. She was born July 28, 1929 in Waltham, IL, the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Munson. Barbara grew up on a farm in Waltham, IL and graduated from Mendota High School. She was united in marriage to Richard Loomis on April 7, 1956. She and her husband moved to Oswego in 1958 where they raised their family. She was a member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church. Judith Ann Detzler, 73 years, of Oswego, IL died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL after a valiant battle against pulmonary arterial hypertension. Judy was born September 9, 1939 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the later Oscar Charles and Nellie Grace nee Ferris Weiss. Robert E Berkland, 88 years, of Oswego, IL died suddenly on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
