Hoops for Healing Benefit Begins Monday Night
All funds go to Camp Hope and the Edward Foundation.
Hoops for Healing, the annual Boys Basketball Tournament and Fundraiser, is starting up once again. Started in Oswego in 2005, Oswego High School teamed up with Naperville North to raise money through a basketball tournament to benefit Edwards Hospital cancer research. To date, the tournament has raised $125,000 towards cancer research. This year, the funds raised from the Hoops for Healing tournament hosted by Naperville-North and Oswego will go to support Camp Hope and the Edward Foundation. Camp Hope is a summer camp provided to children ages 5-12 whose parents or grandparents are going through cancer treatment and is funded soley through Hoops For Healing.
