And The Winner Is...

Bears loss a huge disappointment for most— except the winner of our $100 Target gift card.

The Packers (not the Bears) are Super Bowl bound. So, some Patch readers have reason to celebrate. The vast majority of the people who entered our contest seeking predictions for Sunday's game picked the Bears to win, but we did have a few Packer backers. Packers predictors Kelly Schulz and Chris Reber came the closest of the 69 people who entered to correctly guessing the final game score. Schulz guessed the Packers would win 24-14, while Reber predicted a 21-17 Packers win. Calculating the winner got a bit complicated. If you remember from the contest rules, we were going to take the difference between the predicted and actual points for both teams, and whoever got the closest to zero won.
